How does it work

Recap uses human workers to appeal your account(s) via the Instagram reactivation center until your account gets reactivated.

For each appeal, one of our workers gets assigned to your account daily and goes through all the necessary steps for a successful appeal.

  • Submitting an appeal via one of the official ways All appeals are submitted manually
  • Taking a selfie with the verification code Only real people, on real pictures
  • Responding to Instagram with the taken selfie We only use high-quality email providers
  • Monitoring Instagram's response to the appeal Keeping track of everything related to your account

Bear in mind that your account(s) won't always get enabled upon the first appeal. For this reason, our workers repeat the process daily, either until positive feedback is received, or when the user intentionally stops processing the account.

Setup your accounts

Add your accounts to the re-activation queue. You can enable overcharge protection to limit the number of re-activation requests for each account.


Wait for feedback

Once your accounts are in queue, they will be automatically processed. There are only two possible outcomes for each request:

  • Positive

    This means your account is re-activated and it will be removed from the queue.

  • Negative

    The request received negative feedback from Instagram, and the process must repeat.

Note: your accounts will keep being processed until positive feedback is received or either they are manually removed from the queue.


How do accounts get charged, and what is the free slot?

If you bought a subscription, it includes one account slot. Any accounts running outside of this slot will cost you 0.03$/day. You can change the Account of a slot freely.

What chances does my Account have to get re-activated?

On average, Instagram restores access to around 8-10% of all correctly appealed accounts. Our service currently has a success rate of over 17% to recover disabled Instagram accounts. When and if this happens depends on the specific ban case and luck with the person reviewing it.

How long does it take to get my Account unbanned?

It's hard to estimate a time-frame for a specific account. Most more problematic bans (Copyright Infringement, Impersonation, Heavy Nudity) get lifted due to luck with the person reviewing that appeal. Easier bans usually take anywhere from hours to around three weeks. Hard ones can take weeks to months of constant appeals.

Do I get a refund if my Account is not getting unbanned?

As we employ workers, which make the appeals on your behalf, we won't refund your spent balance. We have put in our time and workforce in either way.
